Falling Bricks was the first of two EPs by Codebase released on Roam Recordings. On the strength of the title track, label boss JP Soul signed Codebase and released the other two tracks "Mineral Scan" and "Black Mondial."

The original 2013 release of Falling Bricks on Roam Recordings dropped with a 12" vinyl EP including these three songs along with another remix (not featured here) by LTJ X-perience.

A departure from Codebase's earlier work, this EP sees the dance beats return from the debut album Style Encoding, though this time with a slinkier groove and more relaxed tempos.
